A grass roots movement, focused through the Hampton Chamber of Commerce, obtained the provincial license for a nursing home in 1983. Community support helped furnish the facility and it was named to honour Dr. V. A. Snow, a community leader who practiced medicine in Hampton for 52 years.
The Dr. V. A. Snow Centre Inc. is an accredited nursing home, located in the quiet rural community of Hampton, with a panoramic view of the surrounding countryside. The Board of Directors, staff and residents thank you for taking the time to learn about our organization.
The Dr. V. A. Snow Centre continues to be a leader in quality nursing care in New Brunswick, and staff members at all levels constantly work at setting and maintaining the highest standards.
While nursing care is the focal point at the Snow Centre, it is the constant attention to the little things in life - fresh flowers in the dining room or a cheerful voice - that create a warm family atmosphere of affection and respect for every resident.

Some special features of the Nursing Home Complex include recreational, worship, and lounge areas, a rehabilitation area, hair care center, large dining room and enclosed outside garden area walkways.
