The Dr. V. A. Snow Centre is a major link in the Health Care System for Hampton and the surrounding area by:

• Keeping the community aware of services we provide
• Access to Relief Care Bed
• Active participation in Emergency Preparedness not only involving residents and staff, but the community as a whole
• Playing an active role in promoting healthy living in the community
• Conducting workshops, seminars and information sessions open to the public, staff, families and volunteers as appropriate  
• Assist service clubs as appropriate
• Providing opportunity to high schools and colleges
• Publishing quarterly newsletter
• Providing meals for the "Meals on Wheels" program
