Dr VA Snow Centre Hampton NBThe Apartment Complex consisting of 20 self-contained units is linked by enclosed walkway and ramp to the adjoining Nursing Home Complex.

Throughout 2006-2007, extensive renovations such as new siding, roof, etc., were completed on the Apartment Complex to maintain the high standard of living set by the Dr. V.A. Snow Centre.

Mission Statement
To provide accommodation for single and married seniors, 55 years of age and over, by having and maintaining a number of comfortable, safe, self-contained apartments, adjoining the Nursing Home in Hampton, New Brunswick, at a reasonable cost. Two of these apartments are modified for wheelchair access.

Why: To provide alternate accommodation solution.

Where: Adjoining The Dr. V.A. Snow Centre in Hampton, New Brunswick.
Who: Single and married seniors aged 55 years and over.

All apartments are on ground level and easily accessible to all. The tenant parking area is located at the south end of the complex.
Some special features of the Apartments include the central recreation room, laundry and parking. Cable and internet hookup is available and will be arranged by the tenant.
Social Activities in the apartments are held on a regular basis as arranged by the tenants, and the Hampton Senior Resource Centre is conveniently located just across the street.
The Apartment Complex has a "No Smoking" Policy as well as a "No Pet Policy " in place for the comfort and safety of all tenants.

Qualifications
The apartments contained within the Dr. V. A. Snow Centre have been designed only for those persons who are able to assume total responsibilities for all activities of daily living or have adequate supports in place.
These activities would include shopping, meal preparation, maintaining personal care and hygiene and good housekeeping.
Assessment and screening of potential residents as well as those within the facility experiencing any degree of difficulty in managing the activities of daily living will be carried out under the direction of the Administrator.
It is highly recommended that all tenants subscribe to the "Lifeline" services.
