Regular Bed - The Department of Social Development requires assessment and approval of nursing home care through the Single Entry Point (SEP) Program prior to admission. 

This is initiated by the resident or family contacting either your regional unit of the Extra-Mural Hospital or local office of the F.C.S.S. (Family Community Services for Seniors).

You will be contacted by the Administrator or Director of Care when a bed becomes available. The preferred time for admission is between 10 a.m. and 2 p.m., but alternate arrangements can be made. If possible, before admission, the family is encouraged to visit our Centre. This provides the family with the opportunity to personalize the room, and discuss the resident's plan of care with the RN.
